4.5☆  Fun journey of discovery & A dabble in disastrous online dating

I really enjoyed reading The women who met her match. It was fun, lots of laugh out loud moments, a story of starting over and learning to love again, A story about finding out their place in the crazy new world of dating!

The opening scenes were by far my favourite within the book.
They show Lorrie as a teenager on her first adventure to France in the exchange programe to learn all about the culture etc..
It's here Lorrie is about to make friends and fall in love for the first time. 

A real coming of age start to the book, watching Lorrie experiment with Make up and learning to Love herself, was beautifully warmimg.

It was beautiful, Antoine was the older brother where she was staying.
They became inseparable, and shared stolen kisses and tender moments.

However it wasn't too last as soon as Lottie came home Antoine fell in love with he's Sisters best friend... leaving her heartbroken.

Fast forward a good 30 years... Lottie now has two children and is very much grown up and about to embark in the murky waters of modern day online dating!

Lorrie is a great Mum of two and recently lost her husband in a tragic car accident.
However her children have decided their Mum needs to get out there and enjoy life and to meet new people.

So they set her up on a dating site.
With some very funny disastrous dates.
I loved the bits where she was dating. I just wish there was more.

Unfortunately for Lorrie her new disastrous dates are not really doing anything for her confidence. So she decides it may just be time to give up!

That is until Antoine walks back into her life after all these years!
Can they 're kindle their love for one and other?... is there still a spark there?.... why has he waltzed back into her life again after all these years??
......if you want the answers I highly recommend reading the book you won't be disappointed.

Overall a fab read, quirky fun characters, lots of laugh out loud moments, sometimes a lil cringe but I loved It!
A strong female lead, who I admired. Her determination to not give up on finding Love.

Highly recommend to everyone especially readers who love Romcoms, Chick Lit, Women's Literature.
