4☆ Wonderful collection of short stories
Chilling Tales of the Unexpected contains four short stories.
-Trading with Death
-Tell Me a Secret
-Sweet Justice
-Written on the Apple Tree
These stories contain topics of sacrifice, death, deceit, secrets, lies, they are all very different and brilliantly written.
Although the stories are very short, Ann hasn't skipped on content.
They are packed full of depth. Which sometimes short stories lack.
Ann has created just the right amount of thrill which I was surprised at considering how short a read they are.
It's very difficult to comment on character development as there wasn't enough content to build up enough of a connection.
This is the second book I have read by Ann, the first was London Noir which I thoroughly enjoyed.
She is definitely an Author to watch out for and I can't wait to read more!

Born and educated in the UK, Ann Girdharry is a trained psychotherapist and has worked as a manager in the not-for-profit sector for many years.
Today she lives in Montpellier, France with her husband and two children.
She writes suspense and thrillers, is a book reviewer and occasionally blogs for the Huffington Post UK. Her crime thriller novel, GOOD GIRL BAD GIRL, was an Eric Hoffer Book Award Finalist 2017. Two of her thrillers are READERS’ FAVOURITE Five Star Books.
