The Gin Shack on the Beach - By Catherine Miller  5☆ Fun, Cheeky, inspiring, feel good read The Gin Shack on the Beach is really inspiring. If I am anywhere near as fun, determined, passionate,with a zest for life as Olive is at her age then I will be very very happy! The very first pages had me in fits of laughter....we meet Olive and she's just decided to take a morning dip in the sea.... NAKED!!!.... much to her Son's horror!! LOL

My Review - The Accidental Honeymoon (5/7/17)

The Accidental Honeymoon - By Portia Macintosh   5☆+  Absolutely loved it!! Rom Com at it's best!! The Accidental honeymoon had me laughing so hard I was highlighting bits so I could go back and laugh again. It's a story of friendship, family, lust, betrayal, relationships, jealously & rivalry, drama, pretending, fun, hilarious moments, a fair amount of drink, and one disastrous wedding, not to mention kidnapping an old lady and a not so wild hen party!!

My Review - The Law of Attraction (05/07/17)

The Law of Attraction - By Roxie Cooper 5☆ Fun, exciting,feisty read One of the first things that attracted me to The law of attraction was the funky, fun cover.  Secondly it reminds me of my favourite film legally blonde. Ok so is it anything like legally blonde you ask.... well Amanda for sure is a strong, kick Ass women who most Definetly gets stereotyped due to her appearance. So in that sense yes! But overall The law of attraction is a fresh, fun story that has it's own twist.

My Review - The Betrayed (03/7/17)

The Betrayed - By Casey Kelleher  5☆ Gritty, enthralling, hard hitting!!! I am a big fan of Casey Kelleher's books and The Betrayed lives up to her high standards. Another 5+☆ book in my eyes! Casey's books just keep getting better and better. I can't wait for the next one!! Once again Casey pulled me into her world. The Betrayed is enthralling, gritty, gripping, captures the essence of the gangland life, and its a hard hitting page Turner that captured my attention the whole way through. Not to mention the pulse racing twists and the ending....left me wanting more!

Wedding Bells at Butterfly Cove (Butterfly Cove #2) - By Sarah Bennett  5☆ Beautifully Charming, Perfect Summer Read! This is the second instalment following on from Summer at Butterfly Cove. This book can be read as a standalone but to capture the real essence of Butterfly Cove it would be a good idea to read the first book. This is a charming feel good book about love, new beginnings, friendship, a wedding, family.

It's beautifully written, and the atmosphere surrounding the bed and breakfast is enchanting.

Practice makes perfect - By Penny Parkes 4☆ A Compelling, Heart Warming Read, mixed with humour and Drama. Practice Makes Perfect is the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone book. I wasn't lucky enough to have read the first book, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the story.

Each Little Lie - By Tom Bale 3.5☆ A Good Deed that went horribly wrong! Each Little Lie is a Physiological Thriller based on lies, secrets, deception and manipulation. It's a slower paced read that builds up anticipation. Who would of thought that doing someone a good deed could change your life forever!!

An Act of Silence - By Colette McBeth 4☆ Hard Hitting and Powerful An Act of Silence sums it up really well. Things are deeply covered up to such an extent people are willing to stop at nothing to make sure despicable acts stay covered up.

My review - Magdalen Girls (15/2/17)

Magdalen Girls - by V.S Alexander 4☆ This story is based on true events. The story is Raw, hard hitting, poient, Powerful and heartbreaking. After watching the film and reading the story I felt that the book didn't quiet capture the horrific nature these young women faced. Some young girls were forced into the Laundries because they was pregnant out of wedlock. They was abused, tortured and worked very hard. Once they had their babies they was taken away. Never to be seen again.

My review - Frost (02/2017)

Frost (Midnight Ice #1) - By Kaitlyn Davis 5☆ Frost is a Vampire book with a difference! It was so nice to read a Vampire book with a unique twist. I love Vampire books and this one in particular caught my eye. The cover is beautiful and extremely eye catching!

The Chocolate Cure  (Love at the chocolate shop #4) - By Roxanne Snopek 3☆ Maddie decides to make a few New years resolutions to give up Men, No Meddling and no Chocolate. These resolutions are made whilst she is very drunk in the pub on New Years Eve. Maddie quickly regrets her resolutions as living in a small town means everyone knows everyone which means they are just watching and waiting to see if she fails.

My Review - The Food Of Love (3/2/17)

The Food Of Love - By Amanda Prowse 10☆ If I could award this book 10 stars I would. I have never read a book so intense, so heartbreaking yet so frustrating, so insightful as The Food of Love. Amanda took me on a journey and opened my eyes wide to Anorexia and the heartache and struggles this poor little girl faces on a daily basis. I shed many a tear whilst reading this book which never happens to me, and believe me when I say I have read a lot of true horrific stories. But this one touched me like no other book has.

The Servant (The Vampire Desjardins book 1) - By Camilla Klaus 5☆ I really enjoyed reading The Servant, Although it was a Vampire book it had a very different feel. It wasn't all about killing and sex.  It was a really easy read and the Characters were intriguing

Big and Small in the Mirror- by Mary Feliciani  5☆  I really enjoyed reading Big and Small in the Mirror. This book deals with a very real issue of childhood bullying, and gives children an insight into different forms of bullying and how to deal with it.  The target Audience for this book is 8-10 years old.

I loved it!! Curves, kisses and Chocolate ice cream, is a book about personal struggles and overcoming your demons, new beginnings, friendship, relationships, humour, scrumptious ice cream, fab characters.
