Is it better to have loved and lost, then never to have loved?
Paul Starr, Ireland's leading cardiologist, has died in a car crash with a pregnant young
woman by his side. A woman who is not his wife.
Evie, Grace and Annalise never thought they'd meet, but now they have to uncover the truth
of their pasts. And suddenly they find themselves united by a man they never really knew at all.
As these women begin to form unlikely friendships they discover that Paul's death could prove to be the catalyst they needed to become the people they always wanted to be...
A heart-warming story of love, loss, family and friendship. A compelling debut for fans
of Sheila O'Flannigan, Veronica Henry and Jane Fallon.

Thoughts on the release of My Husbands Wives in Paperback...
It’s a funny thing – a book coming out, you’re not quite sure what to expect. My Husband’s Wives is a pretty special book, my debut and although it’s already brought me to magic places in terms of the ebook charts around the world in digital format (it’s been a top ten bestseller all over the place!) and
the Irish fiction charts (we reached number six in original fiction when it came out paperback) it’s still just a bit nerve wracking. You see, I think, it’s a bit like getting married! Not the whole, I do and
throwing your future into the hands of someone else for all eternity, but rather the nuts and bolts of that Big Day.
It’s the notion that there may be something crucial that you’ve missed. Like, did we tell everyone the right day? Is there even the vaguest possibility that the church is booked for Wednesday, but the invitations have gone out naming the day as Saturday? Will the dress actually fit by June? Does Great
Aunt Flora really think I’m having her sing in the church – the last time she sang in tune was circa 1954 and even then, we only have Uncle Herberts’ word for it and he’s stone deaf!
You know, those little niggling doubts that you’ve done everything you can possibly do... Of course, the reality is that as an author, once the book is written and it goes to the publisher, in many way’s it’s no longer your baby any more. Yes, of course, you get to tweak it and I’m lucky to work with a
wonderful publisher who makes it feel like the whole book baby process is a collaboration, but really, the rest of the journey is out of my hands. The book after editing is born, jacketed, shipped and distributed in a world far removed from my reality here in my little office, tip tapping away in the quiet. Yes, there’s a bit of a kerfuffal where I’ll do a little dance with jazz hands for media and the lovely book bloggers, but apart from that, the real magic happens out there!
The truth is that story is a living thing once it has been born into a book. I’ve just put together a number of questions that book club members have mulled over in relation to this book. Those questions in many ways help the book to grow. They change the way I see and think about the book and I’m quite sure, that readers who come across them will see the book through their lenses as
much as through mine. The other thing I’ve learned is that no matter what you do, or don’t the books’ journey depends largely upon its readers. My Husband’s Wives has opened up connections for me all over the globe, with readers and book clubs contacting me from the belly of America to
the far flung limbs of Tokyo and South Africa. Books travel as much via readers and algorithms these days as they do thanks to mainstream media and really, aren’t readers the most important ambassadors for any book?
So, as regards doing any more, I’m thinking now it’s time to take it easy. My Husband’s Wives is due to launch into the world in paper back on Thursday March the 7th. Here in Ireland it’s the second day of Lent – a time when once everyone was being very devout and giving up chocolate or alcohol or both. Me? I’ll be sitting back with a big hot chocolate and breaking out the muffins – because, well, it’s not every day that you get to launch a book as special as My Husbands Wives, is it?
If you do pick up a copy, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it!

My Review
5☆ A Mesmerising story! Unputdownable!
Wow oh wow what a mesmerising story, My Husband's Wives had me enthralled right from the start.
My Husband's Wives is a story full of secrets, little twists, intrigue, sadness, friendship and bonds, it's a story that will get under your skin as you learn about each of the Wives story.
There is no doubt that Paul is a womanizer!
He's charming, smooth talking, attentive, knows how to make a women feel wanted, but what he isn't.... is entirely honest!
Now I don't want to go into detail as this story is such a compelling read I don't want to risk spoiling it.
What I will say is, after Paul's death,
Evie ( Paul's first wife) , Gracie (his second wife) and Annalise ( his third wife) and the mysterious Kasia who none of them knew about, soon become friends after they bond over their love for Paul and their children.
None of the women or their children have ever met before.
What I loved most about this story, was how flawlessly Faith weaved together each of the Wives stories.
We got to see how they came to be with Paul, how he was with each of them, how he changed each of them, how they fitted into each other's life's.
Each of the women are very different, but one thing stands out is how lonely each of them are. It was so Heartwarming to see their friendships blossom.
My Husband's Wives is a beautifully compelling read, full of intrigue, juicy twists and turns and an engrossing storyline that kept me turning the pages.
The Characters are endearing, strong, likeable and wonderfully written.
Faith Hogan is one of my favourite Authors and once again she has weaved her magic, she writes the most mesmerising and
amazing stories.
If you are looking for a totally absorbing read that's beautifully written, then you won't want to miss out on reading My Husband's Wives!
