My Review
4☆ A Unique Read!
The Craft Room is a unique read with a mix of crime and dark humour which was highly enjoyable.
Sylvia is a grandmother and wife, she's grounded down by her overbearing husband and her Son who is living with them, till she snaps. Which didn't come as much of a surprise as she starts showing signs from the first few pages!
But when Sylvia discovers her new found freedom, she's about to let loose!
Hold on tight, it's about to get Wild & Crazy!!
I was actually very surprised to discover that although this book has it's dark humour, it's also light hearted, witty, full of chaos, it's dramatic, yet addictive!
Holwill has created the perfect characterisation, Sylvia lulls you into feeling strangely sorry for her yet also loathing her behaviour at the same time, brilliant!!!
The plot is crazy, pacy and cleverly written.
I would definitely recommend reading this gripping book if you enjoy crazy crime capers, dark comedy, quirky characters that keep you turning the pages.

Author Bio
Dave Holwill was born in Guildford in 1977 and quickly decided that he preferred the Westcountry – moving to Devon in 1983 (with some input from his parents).
After an expensive (and possibly wasted) education there, he has worked variously as a postman, a framer, and a print department manager (though if you are the only person in the department then can you really be called a manager?) all whilst continuing to play in every kind of band imaginable on most instruments you can think of.
