My Review
4☆ I Enjoyed becoming embroiled in the mystery and sleuthing.
The Invisible Case is the third book in the Janie Juke Mysteries series. Although this can be read as a standalone book. I do feel that I missed out on character development and back story as I hadn't read the previous books.
Having said that I did enjoy this crime mystery, it was intriguing and full of mystery.
Janie's Aunt returns home after several years of travelling with her friend Luigi.
However Luigi isn't so innocent he is about to put their lives into turmoil.
When Luigi finds himself as a lead suspect in a murder case.
Janie feels compelled to help as he is a friend of her Aunts.
I really liked Janie, this is the first time I have met her and I really enjoyed her character.
She is loyal to her family and very determined, and strong willed. Which is perfect skills for solving a crime.
I normally read crime mysteries that are a lil graphic and gritty so this book really did make a change. It was a less slower paced which I enjoyed as I got to become embroiled in the mystery and sleuthing.
It was also nice to see a main character that is very different, she's a librarian with an inquisitive sleuthing side which I loved.
I definitely recommend reading this fab series. I am looking forward to going back and reading the other books in the series.
