Book Information

A first board book about endangered animals by Rod Campbell, creator of the bestselling preschool classic Dear Zoo: lift the flaps to meet elephants, tigers, orangutans and more!

Babies and toddlers will love lifting the sturdy card flaps to discover five different endangered animals in their natural habitats. With a special fold-out ending that shows the difference conservation efforts have made to whales, Look After Us has a positive message about the importance of looking after our world and the animals that live in it.

This book features simple, repeating text on each page to encourage little ones to join in with reading the story, and bright colourful artwork.

Look After Us is the perfect first book to start talking to very young children about wildlife conservation and how important it is for us all to look after the natural world, from tigers and orangutans to elephants and camels.

“Really, it’s like planting a seed in children’s minds . . . I think, if you come to the idea of conservation when you’re young, it stays with you. And I think it grows." – Rod Campbell

My Review

4☆ A Fun, Interactive, Educational and Inspiring, Children's Picture Book.

Look After Us is a really sweet and interactive children's book that gives very young children a glimpse into saving animals that are at risk.

If you have ever read the Dear Zoo books then you will adore this simple yet effective picture book.

It's repetitive text and eye catching illustrations is perfect for children aged 2-5years.
Children can lift the interactive flaps to reveal animals that need our help looking after, for example, Tiger, Orangutan, Whale, Lion.

There is so much more that can be done with this book, for example after reading it you can talk more about the Animals, find little ways to help animals, talk about the environment, but in a fun and interactive way.

I love this sweet picture book, it's a very important introduction into teaching children a little about animals and wildlife conservation and would make a Beautiful Gift.
