Book Information
Daisy was a happy red bus who loved travelling the busy streets of London.
When newer and shinier buses came along, the older buses like Daisy began to disappear.
would Daisy become one of the forgotten buses, or was something else planned for her?

My Review
5☆ So Much Love for this Fantastic Children's Series! Highly Recommend!
I can't begin to tell you how much I Adore this Charming series and Daisy Daydream is the perfect addition to the series.
As much as i adore Jay-Jay, there is something quiet special about Daisy Daydream and I can't wait to see what adventures she has.
Daisy is an older red bus and is slowly being replaced my newer, efficient and more modern buses.
She begins to get very upset as she's unsure what the future holds for her.
That is until the depot hear about Jay-Jay and how he was turned into a play bus for children.
So they set out to raise money and awareness about there exciting project to turn Daisy into a play bus just like Jay-Jay as the children of London would really benefit from having somewhere fun and safe to play.
This book is all about how Daisy becomes a play bus for children and her transformation.
It's about teaching children to work together, it's also teaches children that we can recycle older things and turn them into something special like Daisy.
As you are already aware, I'm a big fan of this series.
The illustrations are always superb, beautifully created and always relatable to children.
This time round we get to see some much loved nursery rhymes. Be warned you might just find yourself reciting them πΆ
As a continuation of the story, you could draw some pictures of your favourite Nursery Rhymes, Maybe create some new ones. Also you could look up different busses to see how they have changed or visit a transport museum.
Jay-Jay melts my heart and no matter what age you are you will enjoy his Adventures.
But now we have Daisy Daydream and I'm sure she's going to be just as loved by everyone!
Once again this is a perfect standalone read, as well as a bedtime story, solo read or group read. A great read for ages 4-8years.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this Heart Warming and Captivating Children's Book.
I absolutely love how Sue has bought back the magic and importance of Play and imagination via Daisy and Jay-Jay.
At the back of the book Sue gives us s little history about Daisy, and it bought back so many fond memories. I used to love watching Play Days and now I'm reading about Daisy's Adventures. It feels even more special!
No matter what your age you will love this Whimsical series!
I can't wait to see what Adventures Daisy Daydream gets up to next.
This truly is one of my Favourite Children's Series and I can't recommend it enough!!

Author Bio
I am a teacher and an author and have currently written six children’s picture books with a bus theme.
For over 20 years, alongside my teaching career, I worked with a Children’s Charity, The Bewbush Playbus Association, which led me to write a photographic history book about it.
I soon found that many children had never been on a bus before, let alone a ‘Playbus’ and they wanted to know more. I decided to write a fictional tale about the bus, his number plate JJK261 gave him his name.
‘Jay-Jay the Supersonic Bus,’ came out in print in 2014. It is the story behind the original bus and is his journey from a scrap-yard to being changed into a playbus for children to play in. From Fact to fiction the bus journey continued.
This story has now been followed by five more picture books.
I also undertake events and author bookings and love to share the story. There are also a few more stories in the writing process, with links to real events and buses.
The story has been read in many schools in the south-East of England, where I teach as a cover teacher, it is always well received and certainly different.
