Book Information

In the close-knit community of Carrenporth in Cornwall everyone knows everyone else’s business. Luke Carrack is only too aware of this. He’s been away for two years but nothing has changed – from the town gossips who can’t see past the scandal of his childhood, to the cold way he is treated by some of his so-called family.
The only person who seems to understand is local hotelier’s daughter Cat Trevelyan, although even Luke’s new friendship with her could set tongues wagging.
But Carrenporth is about to experience far bigger scandals than the return of Luke Carrack – and the secrets unearthed in the process will shake the sleepy seaside town to its core …

My Review

4☆ Romance, Intrigue and Mystery makes for a Compelling Read!

A Cornish Affair was a delight to read.
It was so much more than a compelling romance, it was also a cleverly plotted mystery which made for a compulsive read.

When Cat meets Luke there isn't an instant spark between them.
Cat has no interest in Luke and vice versa.
But as the two become involved their friendship blossoms as does their chemistry. If only they both could let their guard down and learn to open up and trust.

Luke has a bit of a colourful past and the village take great pleasure in making it known, just as you expect from a small village where every one, knows everyone!

No secrets can stay quiet for long!!.... or can they??

I loved watching Cat and Luke's budding friendship unravel and blossom into a romance. It wasn't rushed it was perfectly paced, given their flawed personalities and gossip they faced.
Sometimes it's refreshing to sit back and watch something unfold rather than just jump straight in.

A Cornish Affair is a Compelling Romance with a side order of Intrigue and Mystery, plenty of Secrets, Gossip, Rivalry, Family Drama and Endearing Characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this Gorgeous Book and definitely recommend reading it if your looking for a Romance Saga Mystery.
