My Review

4☆ Beautifully Written poems, an eclectic mix.

I haven't read poems for a really long time, so when I given the opportunity to read Sparkling Fountain I was very intrigued.

Sparkling Fountain contains some very poignant poems that touched my heart.

One in particular is the poem about Oranmore's Father and his 100th Birthday.
He speaks with great pride and humour and refers to his Dad as being a bit of a ladies man. It made me giggle but also warmed my heart.

Oranmore, writes of his heartbreak, when he lost his Brother and Father.

The love he experiences one poem that sticks in my mind is The Gift I Give, he talks about feeling happy and free and two souls joining together will always be in love.
I believe in soul mates so I can relate to this beautiful poem!

He writes with such passion and emotion when he talks about how love can make you feel.
Not only can love make you feel dizzy it can also bring you pain.
Oranmore is not affraid to show both sides. For example he talks about deceit-' it is not well. This leaves a nasty smell!'
He says ' it had been a happy Trust, as he had loved her, and now it's Dust!'

He writes of the tragedy around the world,
He also talks of peace and justice, and about being the world becoming one unity he talks about Humanity and Mother Nature.

Overall Sparkling Fountain is a Poignant yet thought provoking read, that sparks a range of emotion. As he expresses his passionate beliefs!
Written from the heart you delve into the life and soul of Oranmore!

Poem

Photographic Mind

Photographs whirl in the head from shapes,
memories churned up from the earth grave,
throwing forward a known hairy face
situated within a girl entombed with grace,
soft, delicate flowing, some love story told,
that love from year to year unfold
a river constant current life, life roll.
Within the head what can the heart know?
Another head a glowing girl perfumed
believe it, believe her, if you dare be deceived
for truth lies in another bed, she is consumed.
Is it a trick of destiny beware, beware
for figures float and mysteries foam
water buckets, children float in the fair
fun around the house, all live off the loam
of the mother earth, is the life of their hair.
