Book Information

When thirty-four-year-old Nellie Wagstaff loses her job and discovers her fiancé is a cheating scumbag in a single day, she feels like the world has come crashing down. And that’s before the solicitor’s letter, along with a request to visit a place she hasn’t thought about for a very long time.

Heartbroken, Nellie escapes to the beautiful seaside town of Muddleford in Dorset, where she discovers she’s inherited more than she ever bargained for. Nellie never knew why her mother stopped talking to her sister, but now childhood memories of Muddleford come flooding back: long hot summers, the sea glistening beyond the sandy cove... and a stolen kiss with a boy called Jack.

Jack, now a devilishly handsome vet, has the local pet owners swooning over him, and as Nellie and he become close once more, and she gets used to gossiping with the locals and sipping wine at her beach hut with sand between her toes, she’s sure she can feel sparks flying once more. But just as she thinks she might be able to open her heart again, her newest frenemy, the glamourous Natalia, tells her a secret about Jack that changes everything.

Nellie will never know why her mother and aunt parted ways. She’ll sell the house, forget about Jack, and get back to real life. Because there’s nothing for her in Muddleford... is there?

An utterly uplifting and completely hilarious summer read about learning to trust yourself and of finding love and friendship in the least expected places for fans of Jessica Redland, Heidi Swain and Holly Martin.

My Review

5☆ The Perfect Read to make you Feel-good!

Moonlight Over Muddleford Cove is a Heart Warming, Cosy,  Feel-good, Laugh out Loud, Enchanting Rom Com and I loved it! A perfect read for a lil bit of escapism! Oh and I have to take a moment to mention just how Gorgeous and Captivating the Book Cover is!

Nellie is having a really rubbish time of it, her fiancé Callum unexpectedly packs his bags, and tells her he's leaving her, for someone else, Her job is far from perfect, when they call everyone in, and tell them they need to look for a new job, as the company is going into liquidation, and quiet frankly she's fed up!

But then she gets a mysterious letter from Cash and Sons Solicitors asking her to call them. So when Nellie gets in contact, they are about to, not only shock her with sad news, but potentially change her life forever.

All she has to do is visit her Aunt Lil's in Muddleford to sign the paperwork and claim her inheritance!
With a little persuasion from best friend Shivani she sets off to her Aunt Lil's to find out what's in store for her.
I mean what has she got to lose!

I absolutely loved this book, from the moment I started reading it, I knew I was going to love Nellie and I wasn't wrong, I adored her!
What touched my heart was the letter from Aunt Lil and then Nellie going back to Lil's home where she spent many a happy childhood, and relieving all those memories alongside her.
Kim Nash is a superb author and has a way of making you feel very much apart of the story, feeling all the emotions and atmosphere, makes the book that extra special.

Moonlight Over Muddleford Cove is a story of new beginnings, loss, inheritance, life changing decisions, old acquaintances, friendship and romance.
The characters are endearing, likeable and very well written.
This book has a good dose of Feel-good Humour and Romance and will definitely leave you with an Uplifting  Smile!
I really hope this isn't the last visit to Muddleford Cove!
